The PESGB was established in 1964 and is run by a volunteer Executive Council. The Council is elected by the members and each Council Member is on the Council for two years. If you have any questions or problems with the site please email the office.

PESGB Petroleum Geoscience Database
PESGB currently sponsor this free database that provides an overview of global Petroleum Geoscience Research. The database is a useful tool for sourcing information and expertise which can be applied to petroleum geoscience issues in both industry and academia.  Durham University are populating the database and researchers can incorporate their projects very quickly and easily via an internet link that can be sent out upon request.  To view the database click on Society > Petroleum Geoscience Db in the menu bar and to request a link to join the database please contact petroleum.database@durham.ac.uk

Applying for PESGB membership can be completed online and the online shop includes registration for events by both members and non-members.  PESGB Members can update their details by logging in and choosing the 'update details' option under the Membership tab at the top of the page.
