Summary

In this year’s debate, the question posed will be: “Is peak oil demand looming? The effects of peak oil demand scenarios and their impact on UK energy”. Our speakers will be engaging in a topical discussion that will challenge the question of ‘peak oil’, and the effect future demand might have on the UK energy industry.

Confirmed speakers include Simon Flowers (Chairman and Chief Analyst for Wood Mackenzie), Richard Norris (Oil & Gas Advisor for Helios Investment Partners, and Director at Pandreco), Pippa Jones (CNOOC International) and Eric Puik (Senior Energy Advisor for Shell).

The discussion will be held at Church House, Westminster and will be followed by a Q&A session. The event will include a wine and canape reception after the interactive debate. All PESGB members are welcome to register for this event.
