The PESGB YP & The Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG) present “From subsurface to space – the close relationship between remote sensing & petroleum geology”!

With Nick Kellerman, Geo-Information Analyst at Shell & The Geological Remote Sensing Group

Join us for the first of our collaborative seminars with other special interest groups which have a direct input into hydrocarbon exploration and production. The Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG), are a special interest group of the Geological Society of London (GeolSoc) and the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc), and focus on the geological aspects of remote sensing. Remote sensing has a long history in the exploration of oil and gas and this seminar will present the history, the present day applications and some of the emerging applications which could change the way we work. The seminar will also highlight the complimentary skills used by professionals in both disciplines and how you can do-it-yourself in remote sensing using free data and tools to get started!

Whether you are a PESGB Young Professional, PESGB member or GRSG member, please come and join us at the YPs London evening Seminar.
