Machine Learning in Geoscience – March SIG Meeting

A presentation on how one can estimate the uncertainty in Machine Learning algorithms. This is supported by relevant geoscience examples in well logs, seismic-based property prediction and interpretation.

Ehsan is Chief Product Officer in Earth Science Analytics. Ehsan is leading the development of EarthNET, our petroleum geoscience platform based and AI, machine learning and cloud technology while working at the intersection of sales, marketing, client support and service project execution. Prior to joining Earth Science Analytics, Ehsan was VP Research & Development at Ikon Science. He has also been senior researcher at CGG. Ehsan holds a PhD and MSc in Geophysics from the University of Tehran.
