Topic: ‘The Conversation’ for the positive impact of communication skills on young professionals entering the industry
Join us for a conversation with a difference – our speaker is John Kendall who is going to explore with us, the impact of presentation skills and communications in our careers. The importance of presenting your work and yourself with confidence and the impact of that on career progression.
The OTs have much wisdom and experience to offer others, particularly those at the beginning of their careers or those just starting to present their work on the ‘industry stage’.
John Kendall has gained the highest award in public speaking group, Toastmasters. Having started one club and assisted at another six, John is currently advising the club’s growth director on new club formation & technicalities. He is passionate about tapping into the skills of the OTs to give any of the young professionals that extra edge when it comes to interview situation and beyond.
