BP in the North Sea

The North Sea is a growth region for BP, with a tangible set of future investment and renewal opportunities and the potential to sustain a material UK business for the long term. One of the company’s four strategic priorities is growing gas and advantaged oil in the Upstream, something which its North Sea business is playing a central role in with its strong incumbent position, refreshed portfolio and future resource potential.  BP is nearing the end of a historic period of investment in the North Sea which delivered the Quad 204 project in 2017 and is on track to deliver Clair Ridge later in 2018. The company has also been exploring at significantly higher levels in the North Sea in the recent past and has made great progress in improving its competitiveness and resilience – increasing productivity and efficiency, improving reliability and reducing costs. Looking ahead, BP has a rich hopper of future opportunities across its North Sea portfolio.

Dave Lynch is the Vice President Reservoir Development for BP in the North Sea. During this event, he will describe what BP is doing to develop this growth agenda and position the North Sea business for the decades ahead.
