Guest speaker: Chris Pullan
Chris Pullan is an exploration geologist. After graduating from Imperial College in London he joined Carless Exploration to help with the evaluation of their extensive operated acreage in Southern England. This work resulted in the discovery of the Humbly Grove Oilfield. He then worked internationally before returning to work on the geology of Southern England as Exploration Manager for ISE plc. After their takeover by Total he returned to the International arena working for Hunt Oil Company in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and later with Seafiled concentrating on Africa, SE Asia and Australia. In 1998 he decided to become a consultant working International Opportunities. During that time, he worked with Magellan Petroleum to develop their License Portfolio in Southern England. In 2006 he became one of the founders of Celtique Energie who specialized in Onshore European Exploration. In 2013 he returned to consulting and working with Magellan, developing the plays and exploration concepts that resulted in the Horse Hill Discovery in 2014.  He is a fellow of the Geological Society and has been on the board of the UK Onshore Geophysical Library since 2013.
