Topic: Greenhouse Gas Inventories – What, Why & How?
A rapidly evolving policy landscape is driving businesses towards emissions reporting and reduction. Public pressure is mounting on companies to voluntarily disclose their emissions, while financial institutions are increasingly demanding transparency before lending.
So what does a company need to think about when they consider reporting their emissions? What are the different emission sources they should include and how do they go about calculating them? Finally, how can a company then go about reducing or offsetting their emissions?
