Meet the Geophysics SIG Committee Members

This special interest group is to provide a place for GESGB members that have an interest in Geophysics to meet and network. The objective is to promote the understanding and exchange of knowledge within the Society’s membership of all aspects of surface and subsurface geophysical methods, including seismic, gravity, magnetic and electromagnetic.

Past events have included talks on topics such as: Quantitative Interpretation Techniques; Securing the Future- Best Practice in Unconventional Reservoir Characterisation; and Getting Value from Geophysics: Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness for Low Oil Prices. Group meetings are also held frequently and the group is involved in other GESGB conferences such as PETEX 2018.

To join this Special Interest Group you must be a GESGB member. Please visit https://www.ges-gb.org.uk/membership/ to find out more about becoming a member.
