2016 Stoneley Lecture Speaker Announced: Professor Robert Winston

Professor Robert Winston will be delivering the 6th Annual Stoneley Lecture

Central Hall Westminster, London
Tuesday 8 March 2016, 6pm

Robert Winston1- white BGLord Winston is Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London. Most will be familiar with his achievements with human fertility and embriology.  He is a distinguished Parliamentarian and has been at the forefront of promoting the STEM agenda in Parliament through his role as Chairman of the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology and Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology.  He has presented numerous STEM-based TV documentaries, including in 2010, ‘How Science Changed Our World’, a 12 programme series on major scientific innovations where his own personal choice was the Big Bang Theory.

The title of the Stoneley Lecture 2016 is to be announced in January.

The main lecture and Q&A session will be followed by a drinks reception.
