Africa E&P 2015 to host new Seismic Session
This year, PESGB/HGS in association with Petroleum Geo-Services will be hosting a new Seismic Session. The session will give much greater insight into petroleum systems and geological processes that govern the African margins by way of combining a presentation of the geology and a separate seismic data visualization off of which the interpretations were made. Geologically and geographically, the topics vary greatly from the Transform Margin petroleum systems in the Ivory Coast, the Angolan deepwater Kwanza basin and the Namibian margin, to the structure and stratigraphy offshore Somalia to regional seismic interpretation and the implication for deepwater play systems in East Africa. This will give the audience, from recent graduate to Exploration Manager key understanding into fresh areas of exploration or may re-imagine more mature areas with new seismic acquisition or innovative interpretation techniques.
Africa E&P 2015 is taking place on 3-4 September 2015 at the Business Design Centre, London
