Evening Lecture: “Gondwana re-assembled: Challenges for making the new map and insights for exploration”

Colin Reeves

Tuesday, 29th August 2017, 6pm

Geological Society of London, Piccadilly

Colin Reeves will be firing the starting shot of the 16th African E&P Conference with an engaging evening lecture on a new geological map of re-assembled Gondwana and the challenges of quantifying the geometrical effects of episodes of rifting within Africa in terms of plate tectonics.

The good news is that there will be a lot of attendees from all around the world. The bad news is that the evening lecture has now sold out and you can no longer register to attend.

However, there will be plenty more to explore during the two conference days with more than 30 oral presentations of technical papers, 50 poster presentations and a bustling exhibition space, featuring more than 50 industry operators, service companies, national oil companies and professional organisations- sure to promote discussion with the predicted over 600 attendees.

If you haven’t already done so, make sure to save your spot for the 16th African E&P Conference! To register or find out more, click here.
