The two-day subsurface conference which will be held on 18-19 May at the AECC sold out within two hours. This is the first time in 13 years that DEVEX will be free to attend in response to the economic environment.

We are in the process of communicating to all of our bookers to confirm their place.  If you haven’t been successful then please register via www.devex-conference.org and add your details to the waiting list.  We will be releasing more free places if we receive more partnership funding.

Making the Conference free to attend wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our industry partners, BP, TAQA, Nexen, OGA, Centrica and ConocoPhillips.

Partnership Required
We are now calling for more partner support to enable more free places to be released.

Jan Manoharan, Head of Reservoir Management at Centrica E&P and partner of DEVEX said “DEVEX provided us with an opportunity to get world class training and development opportunities at low cost by becoming a partner and ensuring this important event goes ahead. We are also fortunate to be in a position to support this event and make it free for our colleagues in the industry at this difficult time.”

Contact devex@mearns-gill.com for further information on the costs and benefits of becoming a partner.

As well as the strong technical programme, DEVEX will showcase the following:

Core
Vivian Harvey, Chief Geologist, Centrica, will provide a guided tour of the Ensign Core on Day 1 of the Conference

Keynote Lunch
On Day 1 of the Conference, this lunch will provide a unique opportunity to discuss problems and solutions with industry leaders. Further information and booking details will be published soon.

North Sea Equity Showcase – Farm-in Opportunities
On Day 2 of the Conference, the North Sea Equity Showcase will be given by a host of license operators and oil companies operating on the UKCS. Technical presentations will include varied investment opportunities across exploration, appraisal and development.

Young Professionals Event
