Calling all PESGB Geophysicists – your SIG is planning to host a stand on the exhibition floor at PETEX in November 2018. Our objective is to feature the history of geophysics on the UK and UKCS and its contribution the success of UK in the North Sea and neighbouring basins. For this to happen we need your help, can you do any of the following:

• Tell us a story or anecdote of your experience/career (500 -5000 words) – preferably funny
• Supply any old photos/movies (photos can be scanned jpegs)
• Supply any bits of equipment or models on loan (e.g. section through a seismic cable
• Participate in the planning of the event
• Participate at PETEX demonstrating the equipment presenting powerpointed anecdotes
• Give a verbal presentation 10-20 minutes with Powerpoint to audiences of up to a dozen
• Give sponsorship to enable us to move heavy equipment from various donors
