The annual PESGB and HGS Conference on African E&P will provide the perfect opportunity for those with interests in the continent to come together. Over the last decades the conference has gone from strength to strength and has established itself as a key event on African Geology and a highlight in the oil and gas calendar. In 2015 over 650 attendees enjoyed 65 exhibits, an outstanding technical program delivered by a mixture of academic, operational and service companies. Running in conjunction throughout both days of the conference a large technical poster exhibition prompted lively conversation and debate amongst the attendees.

The 2017 conference promises to be bigger and better than ever. We will take the audience back to first principals and challenge pre-existing paradigms that have existed in Africa. We will highlight new insights that will provide the foundations for the next generation of exploration, appraisal and development. Topics include; The New Geography of the Distal Domain. ‘New insights into Young Rifts’ and ‘New Technology leading the way in illuminating and defining our reservoirs’. Following on the success of 2015 our seismic workshop will showcase the most recently acquired seismic surveys with sessions from Ion, PGS, Spectrum and Western Geco. The conference promises a full program of events and networking opportunities in the heart of London.
