I have worked in the Industry for over 26 years, mainly for Shell Exploration, and largely overseas.  For the last 15 years I have worked extensively on New Business in Africa, Russia, and more recently Europe.  By training I am a Devonian palynologist but have worked in a wide variety of established ventures, held assets and new Frontiers.  Over the years I have always maintained my PESGB membership, and on returning to the UK have been active supporting the Society, from Chairing sessions in PETEX 2014 and PROSPEX, to being heavily involved on the Technical Committee for PETEX 2016.  I have maintained a wide and strong network from Academe, various Industry Players, across the Service Sector, through to the City, and it is from this base I would draw topical and thought provoking monthly talks. I have a passion to support the Society, the tradition it carries of education, technical exchange and importantly now, of providing a sense of community & pastoral care in these tough times. I would value your support to continue playing a role in the PESGB, and simply to give something back.
