I have been active member of the PESGB since 2012 and am delighted to be standing for the position of YP Director.

I am currently working for Westwood Global Energy Group as a senior analyst in the Global E&A team leading Westwood’s global farm-out service, a unique tool to identify, track and analyse farm out opportunities. I joined Westwood in 2017, delivering global research reports and monitoring exploration activity across North and South America. Prior to joining Westwood, I worked at BG Group where I gained a broad, international experience across the upstream value chain, working on several projects from new ventures exploration across the Atlantic margins to field development drilling in Norway and Brazil. I also had consultancy experience at Getech Group Plc and Rock Deformation Research (now owned by Schlumberger). As a consequence, I have a strong global network, which I can use to for the benefit of the PESGB.

I completed an undergraduate degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds before graduating with a Masters in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, London in 2013. During my MSc course, I was the Vice-President of the Imperial College London AAPG Student Chapter, where I organised a number of external events and chaired internal committee meetings.

It would be a real privilege to represent the YPs for the society, having been an active member during my early career. The energy industry is a fascinating industry in transition with many challenges ahead, however, we are incredibly fortunate to work with a diversity of cultures and people which makes this industry so much fun to work in. I am keen to share my own experience and passion for geology and help to inspire the next generation of geoscientists as YP Director of the PESGB.
