My current role is that of Principal Geoscientist with Jersey Oil & Gas plc, prior to which I gained industry experience with various operators, service companies and leading consultancies. I have a PhD in geoscience, hold chartered scientist status registered with the Science Council in addition to which I am a Fellow of the Geological Society and, perhaps most importantly, have been a member of PESGB since 2013.

By nominating myself for the role of Secretary, I should like to expose and challenge myself in a role that requires full attention and engagement in PESGB’s management environment whilst developing my coordination abilities alongside my industry network.

To ensure I can deliver my duties, I plan to set aside time to proactively understand, plan and fulfill my duties within the society, and to engage with the other council members and staff to ensure all the requirements of me in the role of Secretary are fulfilled.

I am a committed family man with a beautiful wife, son and daughter. When not occupied with the family I enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
