Why am I restanding for the role of Vice president? Because I have unfinished business!

The last 2 years have evolved to be the most challenging of times. As Vice President I’ve endeavoured to introduce a mix of interesting and informative, industry and academic, E&P and energy transition lectures. But I want to give members even wider access to lecturers that are illuminating, absorbing and challenging.  The evening lectures are a fundamental part of the PESGB and during the lockdown I was instrumental in getting them onto a virtual platform, which has increased attendance. We all miss the physical lectures and look forward to the day we can raise a post lecture glass. However, having a virtual platform gives the PESGB scope to invite expert speakers from any geographical location helping to broaden our understanding and knowledge. I would relish the opportunity to continue this vision and keep you all richly entertained!
