This is a significant role within the OGA, acting as the frontline first-point-of-contact for external licensing interactions with industry, and as the key liaison within the OGA between the Operations and Regulations Directorates on all licence cases.
The Operations Licensing Coordinator plays a key part in supporting the OGA to deliver the UK’s programme of regular licensing rounds, work programme tracking and delivery, licensing events and decisions.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to continue to evolve and adapt the UKCS’s successful licensing regime, which has developed over many years, and is widely regarded as being best-in-class worldwide. The role will involve efficient and effective regulation with a challenging and high-profile workload, requiring the timely anticipation of licence events, internal & external communications and support to secure work programme delivery and turnover of acreage.
The candidate will have a broad range of experience, including subsurface, commercial and operational activities, and will be a credible and dependable contact for senior leaders in industry.
