PETEX: Explore Your Career Area
EXPLORE YOUR CAREER is an event aimed at anyone from graduates to experienced E&P professionals, the employed and the currently unemployed, those wishing to set up a business and those running a business. It is intended to be a feedstock of ideas and resources for individuals and companies to make the most of the current economic conditions.
The EXPLORE YOUR CAREER zone will address:
- The job market status, challenges and opportunities
- The retention of talent
- Imbalances in diversity in the talent pipeline exacerbated during a downturn
- The practicalities of securing a job
- Starting your own business
- Continuous training and internships
- The practicalities of personal branding (including the opportunity to have a professional “profile” picture taken)
The EXPLORE YOUR CAREER zone will be hosted by Working Smart (with MD Deirdre O’Donnell) and Zinc Consultants (with MD Chris Flavell). Appointments will be available for one-to-one consultation with expertise on establishing a business or crafting a CV.
In addition, there will be KEYNOTE TALKS, including:
