Call for abstracts
The PESGB Young Professionals would like to invite you to submit an abstract to our Technical Seminar ‘Our Multidisciplinary Industry – From Challenges to Solutions’ on Thursday 29 September 2016.

With the current turmoil in the oil and gas industry, it is imperative that we find efficiency gains through the integration of different data type and disciplines, and importantly also, how we work as diverse teams. In this Technical Seminar, we aim to bring together YPs from different disciplines to share their expertise. The objective is to showcase a range of approaches and workflows which, combined, demonstrates the multidisciplinary nature of our E&P industry.

Guidelines for abstract submission
Please submit your abstract to PESGBYP@gmail.com including your PESGB membership number. Abstracts need to be 300 words or less and must clearly outline the objectives/challenges and the solution adopted. There are no specific technical categories; however, we aim to deliver a range of topics from multiple disciplines across the E&P lifecycle. Authors must have permission to present this work, however the abstracts themselves will not be published. Presentations are expected to be maximum 15 minutes long with 5 minutes Q&A. Due to time constraints, we aim to use the best 6 abstracts. Successful authors will be notified shortly after the closing date.

Submission deadline: Thursday 30 June 2016
A winning abstract and presentation will be chosen on the day based on technical merits, clarity of work and overall fit to the seminar theme. An agenda will be published when all abstracts gave been received and reviewed. The seminar will begin promptly at 18:00. Registration opens late July and a reminder notification will be sent out. Successful authors will automatically be registered. Spaces are limited so please register as soon as possible by emailing PESGBYP@gmail.com including your PESGB membership number as soon as registration opens.
