GEOLiteracy Tours

The GEOLiteracy Tour, formally known as The Stoneley Lecture Series, is the GESGB’s flagship outreach event which was established in 2011; with the aim of raising the profile of geology and earth sciences in the public consciousness.

The Stoneley Lectures are the main feature of the tours, which are named in honour of Professor Bob Stoneley (1929 – 2008), eminent geologist and educator and an Honorary Member of GESGB.
