Abstracts are now open for DEVEX 2018!

Following the theme ‘Working Together from Pore Space to Pipeline, abstracts of 200 words for presentations of 20 minutes are welcomed on a variety of topics including, but not limited to:

  • Case histories on maximising production
  • Case histories on successfully bringing shut in wells back on stream
  • Frontier exploration
  • Advanced recovery mechanisms – Waterflood to EOR
  • Near field opportunities
  • Facilities enhancements to improve efficiency
  • Big Data
  • Field rejuvenation & Late Well Life Optimisation

Abstracts should be submitted online via www.devex-conference.org before the closing date of 22 January 2018.

A valuable training opportunity, this not-for-profit conference is run by industry professionals and is jointly organised by Society of Petroleum Engineers Aberdeen Section (SPE) Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB),  and Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society (AFES).  DEVEX will take place on 8-9 May at the AECC.

Seismic 2018 – Abstracts Open

Following the success of Seismic 2017, Seismic 2018 will again explore the entire spectrum of seismic technology from exploration through to development and production to abandonment – the lifecycle of the asset.

Case histories, application of technology and cost savings are of particular interest.  Papers demonstrating the collaboration between seismic service companies and operators in the application of seismic technology are encouraged.  If you have experiences to share then we invite you to submit a 200 word abstract to aberdeen.events@spe-uk.org
